It was planted by a group of workers who had previously attended an Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students (AFES) church connected to the Wagga campus of Charles Sturt University.

WEC began with one pastor and one service. We now have three pastors and two morning services. 

People from all ages and stages of life come to Wagga Evangelical Church and call it home. We lease the main hall from Wagga Wagga Christian College for our Sunday services and Friday night youth group.
